Best Friends for Life, Tucho and Ratzinger
My take on the Vatican document on Mary, and the curious omission of Ratzinger from the subsequent polemic.
On the 7th of October 2025, The Vatican released a document titled, ‘Mater Populi Fidelis’ a Doctrinal Note on some Marian Titles. Much has been written about this heretical and blasphemous document already, but there are a couple of points that I would like to make as well.
As far as I am concerned the body of the document itself is a shining example of mumbo jumbo, of bureaucratic speak in action. It says many things, much of which is heretical and blasphemous as I have already noted, but at the same time with its onrush of words and great over complication of even the most simple of elements, it manages to say not very much at all.
The true meaning and intent of the document is in the prologue.
While clarifying in what sense certain titles and expressions referring to Mary are acceptable or not, this text also aims to deepen the proper foundations of Marian devotion by specifying Mary’s place in her relationship with believers in light of the Mystery of Christ as the sole Mediator and Redeemer. This entails a profound fidelity to Catholic identity while also requiring a particular ecumenical effort.
The highlighted word ecumenical is the key point to all that follows. Ecumenical means to promote unity among churches or religions. It is one of the major heresies of Vatican II, and also one of its most awful fruits. It is the antithesis of Catholicism, and it shines a light on the real intent of those who are currently wearing the Church as a skin suit.
This document exists to alleviate somewhat the searing butt hurt that protestants have about Mary. The document does not serve the Catholic Church. It serves the Church’s enemies, both
within and outside its walls. The rest of the document is a series of hoop jumping and backward somersaults in an attempt to declare that yes, Mary is special, but not that special really so please try and not make a big deal out of her anymore. I’m only surprised that they didn’t attempt to rewrite the Hail Mary prayer.
The document was complied by Víctor Manuel Card. Fernández, known as Tucho to his detractors. Tucho is a disgusting little heretical pervert, but under Prevost he has been given even more power than Bergolgio had given him, an act that speaks volumes about the American squatting on St Peter’s chair.
One of Mary’s titles that Tucho attempts to dismantle in the document is that of “Co-redemptrix”. And in parts 19 and 20 Tucho leans heavily on then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger to back him up. In fact, from the quotes that Tucho provides, old Ratzinger, the darling of the Trad world who was so unjustly ousted from power by the evil and horrible Francis, (Ann, I’m looking at you), seems to have been somewhat on Tucho’s side on this nasty little play.
I haven’t a heard a single word about this from the Rad Trads. Nor from the Johnny come lately sedevacantists who were fine with three heretical popes, but just not the last two. Ratzinger gets a free pass while Tucho smirks behind the copy of his latest gay porno mag.
It’s all so tiresome.

On the positive side, this means we should be even more devoted to our Lady.
