Most of you Trads are not even Catholic

Pouring a bucket of cold water over those trads who want permission for their TLM from public heretics.

This article is a good example of the hand wringing going on in what is broadly known as the traditional Catholic camp. People like the writer of that article are discovering that they are in an incredible bind, with their desire to be obedient Catholics but still practice, or still be allowed to practice, the Latin Mass now coming up against the unmistakable stench of heresy that is emanating from the Vatican.

I may ruffle some precious feathers right now, but here goes - the only actual traditional Catholics in the world today are those who have publicly rejected every aspect of Vatican II. Everything else is play acting. Allow me to explain as it is really rather simple.

The Latin origin of the word Tradition is tradere, which means to transmit, to hand over, to give for safekeeping. The most direct English translation would be, to transfer. The role of the popes since the beginning of the Catholic Church has been to protect the faith and to hand over unaltered the magisterium of the Catholic Church to the next generations. That role continued unaltered for close to 2,000 years until the tumultuous and heretical occasion of Vatican II. With that council the tradition of the Catholic Church was betrayed and destroyed. What stands in its place is a skin suit gleefully worn by ancient enemies of the Church. Their present goal is to destroy the papacy and install a form of democratic council in its place.

Thus, traditional Catholics are those who reject Vatican II, and all of its popes, not just one or two of them, as well as all of its priests. Because they are not priests. The only valid clergy are sedevacantist and sedeprivationist priests. Those organisations and institutes belonging to those groups are those who have continued the unbroken line of protecting for safekeeping and handing over to the next generations the true Catholic Church.

If you would like direct evidence of this then consider the following: the Vatican today will acknowledge any form of religion in the world, from Islam to Protestantism to ogga-buggas in the Amazon rainforest. According to the Vatican, all religions are a pathway to God, (which is a total heresy and a rejection of the First Commandment, and a core value of Vatican II).

Except for one group of religious. Sedevacantists and sedeprivationists. These are outside the fold. These are very bad indeed, at least according to the current occupiers of the Catholic Church real estate. And they hate us because we are the only traditional Catholics in the world.

Seeking permission from these heretical scumbags to be able to practise a misplaced idea of what is actually the Catholic faith is just humiliating to observe. You are not being obedient by seeking to follow the public face of what was the Church. You are being taken for fools. And the reason that people like the writer of that linked article cannot make sense of what is going on is because they desperately want to hold on to the public face of the Church while still being able to play act within its jurisdiction that which it has most absolutely rejected.

You cannot square that circle. To repeat, being a traditional Catholic is not cosplaying living in an English village 800 years ago. Rather, it is the simple yet profound act of holding to the real Catholic faith as it existed up until 1958. That is tradition. The truth is always very simple and plain. But for so many Catholics with their heads in the sand, the truth hurts.
