Not Losing my Religion
Is your faith so weak that the actions of a random media personality would cause you to fall into crisis?
The WM Review has published their appraisal of the work they did in 2025, which is more or less a bunch of stats about how they have grown and what a great job they have done as they rattle the old tin cup. Fair enough, I can get with blowing your own trumpet now and then, have at it. But this quote in the introduction leaves me kind of perplexed:
It seems that many personalities were riding a wave of conservative Catholic discontent, without ever intending to follow their own arguments to their logical conclusions.
The moment those conclusions became unavoidable, they folded.
Thousands of gaslit Catholics who’d trusted these voices were left stranded – questioning not just the legitimacy of “Leo XIV” but the faith itself. We watched it happen in real time.
I agree with the first part, and it was very instructive to watch so many self declared traditional Catholic media personalities scramble over each others’ bodies to bow and scrape before the American imposter pope. And you have to give it to the Vatican authorities for arranging Leo’s election; I mean, choosing an American pope to counter the massive growing Catholic discontent within the USA was very strategic of them. Sure, we’re dealing with committed homosexual Satanists, (but I repeat myself), but they do occasionally come up with some smart moves.
But that said, why on earth would thousands of Catholics be stranded by the actions of media types that they had followed? I mean, I know people in general are dumb, and the law of underestimating stupidity by that Italian professor is well known to me, but aren’t these people capable of thinking just a little bit for themselves? And having some emotional maturity into the bargain?
So your Youtube rad-trad Catholic figurehead of choice suddenly gets down on his knees to suck up the Vatican’s thrown tit bits; so what? Why isn’t the general reaction from his audience, why thank you for showing me your true colours, and thank you God for shining a light on the little shit’s hypocrisy; now I will get on with my life and be more determined to seek out truth and to do what it takes to quietly follow God and be His divine instrument.
Why can’t this be the reaction from people? Why does it have to be, oh noes! I am so betrayed! Tay Tay was my most special best friend and now I am crushed and confused and unable to continue and I can no longer tell the difference between up from down, oh the tradmanities. I must now have some other Trad Catholic mouthpiece to follow so I can know what to think because otherwise I am lost in a sea of incense. Thank you so much, WM Review!
I don’t follow anyone commenting on what is coming out of the Vatican because the people occupying the Vatican are not Catholics. They created a parasitical religion in 1965 that apes Catholicism and has usurped its trappings and buildings but they are not Catholics. Really people, if every traditional Catholic in the world just stopped giving a shit about what the Satanists in the Vatican say and do, and stopped giving them any money, then this situation would resolve itself. We keep their charade going by our collective blind stupidity and cowardice to accept the realities of the world and the situation in which we find ourselves.
For the men out there whose faith is susceptible to going into crisis due to events such as these, you really need to harden up and find strength in truth, the word of God and the real Catholic faith. If your faith is so weak that the actions of a random media personality will cause you to stumble, and if you recognise that in yourself, then this is an opportunity to dig deep and become more resolute in your actions and beliefs. We are called by God to be discerning, so practice that by becoming impervious to the random currents and eddies of the world.
And I direct this towards men because we are supposed to lead our wives and families. If women are more susceptible to having their faith shaken in this manner then I can understand it more easily. But lads, come on, for the love of all things holy. This is kind of pathetic to contemplate. What sort of faith do you have? Is it founded on a bedrock of granite or is it suspended on quicksand? I rate Fr Nix very highly and I value all of his output. But if he should stumble and fall away then I would be dismayed for him, and I would pray for him, but there is no way that my own faith would suffer. In fact, I hope and pray that such an unwelcome event would only serve to make me more determined to not fail in such a manner myself. God sends us the trials that we are able to handle. But in the end it is up to us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This line really convicted me: "Really people, if every traditional Catholic in the world just stopped giving a shit about what the Satanists in the Vatican say and do, and stopped giving them any money, then this situation would resolve itself." This means I should probably stop commenting on the crisis. Not give in like the others. But maybe ignore it all?
That was quite the remark about a woman's faith being more likely to fail than a man's because of the failings of another. I would hazard a guess there are as many female as male saints...? It casts up images of pathetic, pearl-clutching, idolatrous, imbeciles. I know many men of great faith and ability, but many of the women I know are leading their families in every way whilst their menfolk scroll and game, ignoring their manly responsibilities. I am definitely not a shouty feminist but that comment is.... pathetic. Embarrassed for the author.
