The Generation War
It's Boomer versus Gen X versus Millennials versus Gen Z, and that's just how They want it.
This article on the generation wars is eye opening in various ways. Full disclaimer before we go further, I am a Gen Xer. I was born in 1971, I was a latchkey kid in a divorced family. I grew up in Perth, Western Australian when it was still mostly populated by actual Australians.
I have also been hard on Boomers in the past, very hard, and for good reason. But this article made me realise something which I shall get to. But first, complaints from Gen Z that Gen X are like totally shit and stuff.
It’s Impossible to get Jobs now and Gen X don’t get it.
It was fucking downright impossible to get work in the early 1990s in Australia seeing as there was a gigantic economic recession which the government at the time had decided that it was “the recession that we had to have.” I held multiple part time jobs for years. At one stage I was doing the following:
Cleaning a nine story office block in the early mornings beginning at 5am, 5 days a week.
Working as a musician in a musical theatre show called, Dirty Dicks of all things.
A few shifts a night as a barman.
How long did this go on for? I did that cleaning job for over three years. I had no choice. Applying for jobs meant scouring the classifieds in a print newspaper and sending off your application by actual mail. You never heard back. Jobs were so scarce for my generation, when I had my high school graduation one of my best friends had managed to secure an entry job with Telstra, the national telephone provider, through family contacts, and our high school principle singled him out for a standing ovation because he had managed to get an actual full time real job.
Gen X Never Taught us anything, we don’t know how to cook!
Welcome to the club. We weren’t taught anything either. I taught myself to cook as a matter of fact. Didn’t have the internet back then though. Had to buy recipe books and try and work out what to buy in the supermarket. But our Boomer parents taught us nothing at all. Didn’t guide us after school in any way. Just threw up their hands and cried to the heavens that it was too hard. Made it all about them while telling us we were slackers. I moved out of home at 17, not because I wanted to but because my father sold the house while I was away for a weekend. It hadn’t been for sale when I left. The new house wasn’t an option as it was his girlfriend’s.
We were never taught anything about money. So we blew it on stupid shit. I did manage to pay the rent on time though, which you can do when you’re sharing a house with five other people. Who all can’t cook either. Or wash the dishes for that matter.
Gen X Men Want to Try and date much younger Women. Icky!
This one raised my eyebrows. Sweethearts, since man walked the earth there have always been people trying to make money in nefarious ways, (your red pill influencers), and men wanting to date younger women. Every generation has this. It was the same when I was a young guy. The difference is that before it was contained to your neighbourhood bar. Now it’s on the internet. I don’t know what else to say.
Here is the very last line of the thread:
Boomers are mostly clueless and cluelessly selfish; Gen X is purposely evil.
No, the truth is that man in general is inherently flawed and has a propensity to selfishness and evil.
The real truth here is that our evil overlords greatly desire this intergenerational warfare. While they have created all of the conditions to atomise and destroy our societies, they encourage us to go at each others’ throats instead of stepping back and seeing the diabolical picture of how They have manipulated us and destroyed our heritage and future. The more that we blame other generations for our collective plight, then the more that we weaken each other and make it even worse for future generations.
Every generation has collective failures. I saw my Gen X peers in the late 90s and early 2000s begin to make simply awful decisions as parents, particular with regards to helicopter parenting. At the same time their kids were being brainwashed in school to become little socialists so now Gen Z is the Woke generation. How that poison will play out is anyone’s guess.
They have brainwashed us that our ancestors were bad and evil and that we have nothing to be proud of for being whites, while ramming down our throats that we have “privilege” when in actual fact none exists. Now they want the continuation of the hatred for our bloodlines to go on through intergenerational warfare. They want kids to hate parents and parents to hate kids. And they do this through fear. Through the fear generated by late stage Capitalism and materialism.
I am 54 years old and I don’t own a home. I did once for a very brief time but the ex-wife took it. I suppose I will have to work until I die. I don’t own very much stuff. I certainly don’t go out for dinner, at least not if I can help it. I live simply and cheaply.
But it doesn’t matter as God will provide. He gives me what I need. I feel for the younger generations in my homeland that cannot afford to purchase a home. That opportunity has been stolen from them by those that control us. We have no protection from our politicians, and late stage Capitalism is more merciless than Communism was.
But it’s okay. I will not hate my own people. I refuse to play that game. Don’t be manipulated by fear into hating your own kind. And realise that the salvation of your soul, and those of your kin, is the most important game in town.

That gen z rant was quite the excessive diatribe. I think i couldve read the Epic of Gilgamesh in less time.
As the Millennial in-between im awarding the points to Adam of GenX here, for simply being much more concise and entertaining.
What is it with these Substack word buffets? Its like some people are overcompensating for years of Twittwr/x 140 character limits.
Remember school essays: 400 words max, otherwise you get docked grades.
